Black screen, keys light up but not the screen

I tried to root my intercept and now i have a black screen.  It will not cut on without being plugged into a computer.  Even when it is plugged in the computer via usb the keys will light up, i can hear it connect to the network, My computer see's it, I can even get a call and answer it.  It's just the screen is still black.  Also i can not boot it to any screen because the screen is black.   Is my phone bricked???
