Marketplace version???

Which version of the Marketplace are we supposed to have?

My wife and I have intercepts.  They have both been updated to Froyo.

She had a problem with hers after updating, so I looked at it.  I opened her Marketplace (to check for updates) and noticed hers looked different than mine.

I did some checking, and her version of Marketplace is 2.12.

Mine is 2.3.6.

Is there a better one?  Is there a way to "force" the Market to update?

Most importantly, is there a reason that these two don't have the same version of the marketplace?

after about 3 to 4 downloads the market should update its self.  If not turn the fone off then on and try to download 34 to 4 more apps and that should work.
