So my phone(now it is a p.o.s) failed to do a system update, and i rebooted it like it said and now its stuck at the samsung www.samsungmobile.com screen, it does the first samsung screen then the pink and orange one and it stays stuck at the samsung screen, its been sitting there for the past 25 minutes, anybody know how to fix this?

this is really frustrating me, as i am getting a new phone and need to bluetooth stuff off the phone and its not even turning on all the way. Angry

I'm going to assume you pulled the battery?

Peter's right:

Do a soft reset by pulling the battery and see if this allows
you to reboot.  Let us know how it turns out.

It's disappointing that Google is using it's users as beta testers without telling them. Angry

Actually I think it's appropriate in this context:

The Android OS is based on a modified version of Linux.  That in itself
puts the power in the hands of the people as it were.  I much prefer
the ability to be part of the process then told that the only thing I'm
allowed to do is drink some god awful Apple (tm)  Flavored Kool Aid.

(No offense to Kool Aid and it's brand.) :)

EDIT:  I see your point by the way.  But perhaps Google assumed that the
community as a whole would do just what we *are* doing.. Forum posting,
tinkering and providing our own feedback.

Yes since Android is OSS it is in the communities hands. But the carriers are the one responsible for pushing out the updates. So someone needs to take responsibility. Gasp

I have been having the same problems occasionally the update. I have 3 different batteries. I'm not sure which does it. But it usually takes switching batteries for it to boot up. It is very frustrating.

Mine did that a few times after the update.  If I open and close the keyboard a few times that usually seems to work.
