Ive had my intercept for about 3 days now. I plugged it in to charge tonight & noticed the battery icon was red & flashing - I went into settings & it said my phone was DIScharging instead of charging while plugged in?! I have searched high & low for an explanation for this & can't find one - maybe somebody here can help?!

Thanks in advance!

Are you using the charger that came with the phone?  Some micro USB cables do not charge - I have one that I got from somewhere that has a "B" on it that absolutely will not charge my Intercept, nor would it work on my old Chocolate 3 or a colleague's EVO.  They make the battery icon flash as if it's charging, but you can leave it all day and still have a dead battery at the end.

The same thing started happening for me today--it worked perfectly until this afternoon. I'm using the charger that came with my phone.  Any ideas?

It did that to me when I plugged it into my USB hub instead of directly to my computer.  That's all I can add.

It's working now. I turned it off, took out the battery, then put it right back in. Turned it back on and it started charging. Smile

I was using the charger that came with the phone...

BUT, right after I posted this I did a battery pull & I haven't had the issue since.

Thanks for the suggestions though!

Does the intercept need a car charger adapter IF the car has a USB jack. (Will it charge if I connect it directly to the car USB jack?)
