The battery icon on my VM Intercept has just started doing something weird. It is flashing, alternating between an icon with a bit of yellow in it and the red-outline icon. This happens whether it's plugged in or not. I have checked all the connections and they seem to be OK, but the icons are telling me the phone is not charging (no little lightning bolt). Anybody know what's going on and what I can do about it?  Thanks much for your help.

Referring to page 12 of the Intercept manual, the blinking red battery icon indicates that the battery is in the "DevicePowerCritical" state.  Now whether this is a false indication due to some software error, or a hardware problem due to a bad charger or battery is up for grabs.  You could try charging from a USB port of a computer, in the event that your charger has gone caput.  If you know your battery is working and charged, why not shut down the phone completely and pull the battery for maybe a minute or so and see if the reboot doesn't fix any software error.  These are the steps I would try before looking at something more serious.
