Ok, so I never had one of these screen protectors for my cell phones in the past and they always manage to stay in pretty decent condition so I didn't bother.  However, with my MOMENT I figure it's better than all my previous phones and I want to keep it looking nice and scratch free.  I cheaped out at first and ordered a 3 pack of protectors off of Ebay for under $2 including shipping.  These items came and were decent enough for the money but I had a hard time installing it to my own satisfaction so I ended up aggravated and wasted all 3 covers.

Fine. So now I hear about this fancy "InvisibleSHIELD" on this forum and people have given it pretty nice reviews.  The YouTube clips on their site show how "easy installation" and "durable" the product are...what an F'n joke!  First and foremost my VISIBLEshield, as I like to call it, came with a little blemish in the cover right off the bat.  I tried to install it anyway.  What pure aggravation.  I literally wanted to go out on a Columbine style massacre after dealing with this piece of garbage.  There is nothing "easy" about putting this thing on. Not too mention that it arrived pre-damaged for me.

I emailed ZAGG and let them know exactly how I fee   ;D ... I'm curious as to how they will help me out.

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering getting a couple of these for my GF and I.  Someone here mentioned Phantom Skinz as a good alternative.  I have never used any screen protectors on anything, I just take really good care of my electronics.  I have a hard rubber/plastic case and I even took that off because it made the phone feel too cheap and bulky.

I've had a Boxwave Screen Protector (which I like more than the ZAGG because they don't have that orange peel texture) sitting on my desk since I got my Intercept.  I've yet to put it on the phone because the screen is SO beautiful.  Needless to say, because the screen is  glass and because I keep it in a pocket by itself, I haven't had any problems with scratches.

InvisibleShields are good products. They are just a pain to install if you're not used to it. It's very easy to get bubbles, dust, or whatever underneath it and once it's "set" It cant be removed and put back on. They are probably the most durable and scratch resistant protector out there but not for everybody. I have one on my intercept and it seems to have made the screen less sensitive which is annoying. Probably gonna try a different brand.

i had an invisbleshield on my samsung instinct previously which was installed by myself with some patience....as for my intercept its a glass screen and i have ZERO scratches just on the body im not gonna bother putting a screen protector on any future phone

p.s. OP im deleteing your off topic post in a different thread....dont do it again

So are glass screens just less susceptible to scratches? Is it safe in a pocket with keys, coins, etc? I do like how the screen looks without a protector but the smudges and prints are almost unbearable.

yes....glass is MUCH harder to scratch, not impossible but less than plastic

We have  the screen protectors.
do not go cheap, the one's you have to cut to fit.

get the ones that are cut out to fit.

If you are a person to Ruh, not follow or go off a beaten path you  get what you pay for.

As for Paypal, full refund. it's only good with ebay and paypal,  outside that paypal  will not defend for you.

Im no pro here, But I am willing to say that over the years Ive tried a few screen protectors. and most with very good results. Plus Ive applied countless decals to street rides and Pro racecars.
Now Im not going into detail on which brand I use, but I can tell you that you need to follow the instructions. if the screen protectors do not come with a application spray.
You can use a drop if dish soap in a cup of water. Mixed well. (APPLY TO THE SCREEN PROTECTOR ONLY). with your finger and shake off the excess, . Put the screen protector to the phone, (Use paper towel to soak up any excess) the mixture will allow you to move the screen protector around until you get it in place. dont drown the phone or you'll be back at sprint replacing phone. using a credit card or small stiff card, squeege the excess mixture out. now there might be small bubbles? they will work themselves out over a day or 2.
Hope this helps

I wrote an email to Zagg about their crap product a few days ago but I haven't heard a thing from them yet.  I'm convinced that I'm not going to get my money back or even get a new product.  Assuming that the installation went perfectly I still don't like the stickyish feel of the screen protector.  It doesn't feel good when you gliding your finger across the screen.

Overall, like I said in my initial post, I think this product is crap!

Furthermore, after almost 3 months with this phone and not using any screen protector the screen is still MINT.  Like someone mentioned I guess the glass screen really helps prevent scratches.  IMO a screen protector or case really isn't even needed...i think this phone is built pretty durably.  Too bad I wasted $15 on the VISIBLEshield

I got an InvisibleShield for my Intercept within a week of getting my phone. I thought it was pretty easy to put on. Wipe down the screen, stick on the shield, slide it into place, squeegee out the bubbles, let dry. Only took me a couple minutes. I then used a blow dryer (on low with low heat) to semi-dry it afterwards. I don't know if it helps that I'm in the Graphics field and I deal with vinyl and stuff like that on a daily basis.... but I thought it would be pretty easy for anyone else too.

It seems to gather fingerprints much less than the bare screen does. That was the first thing I noticed. Fingerprints all over my screen bugs me so this actually helped me a lot.

The only real gripe I have about it is that it seems a bit more.... "sticky"?.... than a bare screen. Like if I'm drawing a path or something sometimes my finger will stick if I'm going to slow. Like it has a slight rubbery feeling to it. I don't notice it often and when it happens it's usually not a big deal. It's just something I've noticed. I know it has nothing to do with the cleanliness of the screen or my hands. I wipe the screen off every time I'm done doing something and I'm one of those people who wash my hands very often.

i love the screen protector of my invisible shield.

that's it.

the body protector pieces are pissing me off...  some are coming up, some are collecting dust...  and it wasn't user installation error, i had one of their employees put it on.
