Installing these screen or phone covers is like applying graphics on a car...you dont just throw the sticker on, start rubbing and hope for the best as you're trap a million air bubbles.  Instead, peel back the paper like 1/8th back, attach it and start massaging the film and pulling the paper back as you go.  It'll stop the bubbles, keeps dust from landing on what you're working on since you're holding the paper and film directly above your working area, and moving back slowly will stop the bubbles from getting trapped.

I don't know how safe it would be, but when I applied the same type of film to my headlights, I used a hair dryer to preheat both the headlight and the film to make it more pliable.  The cooling down affect also helps w/ any bubble issues as the film comes back down to room temperature.

Just imagine how frustrated guys are who install 3M clear bras on cars, then again, they install them the same ways Invisishield suggests to install them...invisibleSHIELD™ - Samsung Instinct Install  That little bottle isn't anything better than using anything more than soap and water.

don't be condescending, of course it's like applying graphics to a car, and darn near anyone that's done either the screen protector, the graphics, or both (as i have) knows that....  the OP sounds as though he was not putting enough time in to lining it up...

the unfortunate thing is that Zagg dropped the ball on everything but the screen protector on this phone.  they needed to R&D our InvisShield a lot more before it was released...  i literally have to convince myself daily not to just peel off everything but the screen protector as most of it is peeling anyways...  again i'll say, i had this put on by one of their employees a week and a half ago, it is not an issue of installation error, it's a build quality problem.

I wasn't being condescending, I was being factual.  I watched my gf do the same thing when she get a skinit kit for her phone, so I'm not going to assume that someone may actually know how to apply graphics...I didn't when I did my first ///ALPINE sticker on my car back in high school ;)

I've had pda/smartphones for years and never really did the whole screen protector thing because I never had a problem, so I've got no experience w/ particular brands, I just was pointing out that applying these stickers could be installed wrong by anyone, so it may not be the products fault before someone creates a whole thread saying their product is garbage.  Apparently in this case, it is a product issue after all...but like I said, I wasn't going to assume the OP knew how to apply it correctly either.

the sad thing is that i've seen well made invisible shields and they look great.  this needed more R&D...  luckily i got this with a 75% discount thanks to the Shack, so i think i'll just take off everything but the screen protector...

I just installed my eBay $.99 for 3 screen protectors.  I'm going to wait about a week and see how well the film resists to light scratches in my pocket, from my fingers, etc, but so far it's working great.  A squirt of water and dishsoap, credit card squeegie and a microfiber towel did the trick.

I picked up the Invisible Shield not long after getting my intercept.  It was super easy to put on and so far, so good.  I don't know how I did it but I do have two un-self healing scratches it in but below and to the side of the screen.  Other than that, working well.

I do have to agree on the weirdness of it feeling "sticky" as compared to the silky smooth like butter feeling if it naked though.  It just takes some getting used to.

I have the invisbleshield, and I'm happy with it.  Whether the screen is tough enough, I'd rather not take the chance of scratching it, so I got the screen protector.  Like some have said, it did have a sticky feel to it and the sensitivity was lowered a bit, but I'm used to it now, I don't even notice a stickiness to it.  putting it on was a pain because when I first peeled the protector off the paper, I touched it.  Even with freshly washed hands, I managed to get a couple specks of dust on it that I didnt notice until I put it on.  I actually ended up putting it on and then taking it off about 3 times, so now I have some slight wrinkles in it, and still little dust specs.  But the soap & water made it pretty easy.  Just make sure your hands are COMPLETELY clean, and maybe clean your bathroom or other small room really well, and then shut the door and windows and keep the fan off, so no dust gets blown around lol.  I've had mine for a month now and its holding up 100%.

It's a thick shield, so of course sensitivity would be lowered, but for me it wasnt a big deal.  As long as it does the job.  I'd rather have a thick screen protector and know I won't get any scratches, than not have anything and HOPE I dont get scratches.

So after having my screen protector on for about a week, i'm quiet happy w/ them.  I have one on my 755p as well that came w/ it when I got the phone, and it is almost too thick and shows plenty of hairline scratches that get highlighted when the screen is on, almost giving a rainbow effect on the screen.  The ones I got from ebay for my Intercept have been awesome...none of the hairline marks, and while it's a little more rubbery feel vs the hard Treo ones, the screen input on the Intercept is still fine.  Funny enough I thought I had messed it up once since I had grabbed the phone one morning and noticed I must have had something in my pocket rubbing the screen.  There was a little dimple in the protector about the diameter of a cocktail straw on the screen, so I was thankful that I had 2 more still to use.  After about two days, low and behold, the softness of rhte rubber has allowed that little dimple to disappear and I haven't had to replace the protector.  Looking at it in direct sunlight, I can't even tell the mark was there...all for .99 shipped, you can't beat that.

I still wanna find something to protect the entire phone as I'm going to dread the day I drop and scratch my phone, but it seems there isn't anything confirmed that works great w/o some eventual issues.

I wrote an email to Zagg about their crap product a few days ago but I haven't heard a thing from them yet.  I'm convinced that I'm not going to get my money back or even get a new product.  Assuming that the installation went perfectly I still don't like the stickyish feel of the screen protector.  It doesn't feel good when you gliding your finger across the screen.

Overall, like I said in my initial post, I think this product is crap!

dude i second you on this, about a month after i got my intercept my girlfriend was sold and she got a moto droid so i went out and bought a invisibleshield for both phones. now im no pro installer but im a car guy so ive done window tint, vinyl graphics, headlight/foglight flim and im pretty sure i installed our shields correctly, mine had slight orange peel on one side and she had it all over the screen. hers is now peeling from the top after about a month of use. sensitivity sucked on both phones and it made using my intercept a pain...now im not knocking everyone else that loves and swears by their products but for me they suck and wont be going back to GARBAGE invisacrapshield...
