Otterbox for the Intercept?

I just purchased a Intercept and am making the move from the iPhone 3g.   So far, I'm loving the phone, and actually the only thing I miss about the iPhone is the Otterbox case I have for it.   They make simply the best cellphone cases I've ever seen, but they don't make one for the Intercept.   However, they are about to release a case for the Pre, also a slider phone, so I emailed them asking about a Intercept case.   They got back to me in about 20 mins.   Here's our conversation:



Hello, I recently switched from an iPhone 3g to a Samsung Intercept smartphone and the only regret I've had so far with the switch is that there is no Otterbox available for the Samsung Intercept. I'm sure it's difficult to make a good case for a slider phone, but it seems that you guys have done it with the Pre case. There are currently no good quality, snug fitting cases on the market for this great phone, and I'd like to suggest that you build one similar to the Palm Pre case you've developed. I will buy one in a second, and I'm sure others will to.

We do not have any information if a case will be made at this time for that device, but it is something that has been requested a lot. I would say to keep an eye on our website, as it will have the most up to date information on any new releases that we may have.

I don't know if it would help for anyone else to email them, but hopefully something's in the works since they have had many requests for one.    Here's a picture of the Pre case, I sure hope they make a similar one for this phone as well.

Why wont they take our money? I mean just looking at this standpoint anyone with this phone will be willing to pay good money for a decent case. Not to mention they sound like a broken record.

lol and it's not even for sale yet.

I dont think it's gonna fit right....the camera is in the center for one and the moment is about 4-5 mm bigger in length. On another note does anyone know of a good case for the intercept?
