Great forum. Very useful.

I Browsed the postings first. (Funny how you have to clarify that these days.)

I am looking for an off the shelf pre-cut  screen protector for my Intercept, that has the textured almost pebbly look to it like the iphone has.

Fingerprints: they bother me to the point of adopting a crush on Jodie Foster, please help keep that from happening. The "textured" ones serve that purpose well.

I've been to the sprint store mall kiosks, etc so on so forth...

It's to hard to tell from pictures on ebay what I am getting before ordering.

Thank you very much and make it an Androidian day.

Textured, almost pebbly look? As in kind of rubbery? If that's what you want, look in to the Zagg Invisible Shield. I had that on my palm pre (just got the intercept 2 days ago, so I haven't gotten the invisible shield for it yet), and it was pretty rubberish. I don't know if that's what you mean by textured, but you might look in to that.

The Intercept is bout the same screen size as my old Dell Axim, they have plenty of screen protectors for those wich are also textured.

i just installed this boxwave anti-glare screen protector.  its very similar to the power-support anti-glare screen protectors that were once sold via the apple store.  I absolutely love it, no question.

they are not as high in clarity as say a crystal jacket or a phantom skinz screen guard that has had enough time to set, but they are "resuable" and are awesome for fingerprints.  nothing beats the feel of a glass touchscreen, but these anti-glare guards are the next best thing IMO

Thanks everyone.

1st.

Best buy has the zagg full body for the Samsung Instinct hd on clearance for $1.62.

I swear.

I bought it just wanting to use the front screen and it cut to shape just fine with a razor blade.

We'll see how it goes.

2nd.

When I took the old protector off it came off in two parts, I guess that the old protector was sandwich between two protective layers. When I put it on, I did not notice. It actually worked fine sensitivity wise.  I saved the old "screen protectors"  carrier to use as a template i foresaw this event occurring I guess..

I am old, and there am subject to do things I myself would consider strange stupid and irrevocably funny in my more youthful days.

I ordered a Zagg screen protector not too long ago. It should be here any day. But this one you posted looks pretty awesome. I'd love to reduce the amount of fingerprints and glare. I'm constantly wiping off my screen because it bugs me. It just makes it look old and dirty.

I just installed my eBay $.99 for 3 screen protectors.  I'm going to wait about a week and see how well the film resists to light scratches in my pocket, from my fingers, etc, but so far it's working great.  A squirt of water and dishsoap, credit card squeegie and a microfiber towel did the trick to keep the bubbles out.

Currently running Noobnl's Radioactive Eclair 1.5.5a w/ MeatKernal 1.1.0 - built in apps2sd and wifi tether is awesome!  Too many apps to list...most recent fun ones being animated wallpaper and Swype :)

ON ebay you can get 3 screen protectors for less than $2 shipping included.  Does anyone have experience with these ultra cheap screen protectors?  they do not advertise a brand name.
