So after following this closed thread http://www.samsunginterceptforum.com/samsung-intercept-android/fix-streaming-apps-(credit-to-sdx), I did all the steps needed to be able to enter my MSL.  Unfortunately, everytime I enter it, I get the same message:

Modem Error
Modem Exception occurs

I've got a Intercept running the Sprint version of 2.1 w/ Noobnl's 1.2.3 custom ROM.  I still get this annoying A$$ issue where it decided it doesnt wanna stream anymore.  Instead I get an annoying EV up arrow for my signal and won't connect to anything.  I've been using Fast Reboot that resets the radio along with other things I don't want it to reset, but even that hasn't helped lately.  Even after the radio is reset, it then won't connect to anything at all I get an X for my signal, yet I've got like 4-5 bars for making calls?!  WTF is going on with this phone?  It's the second one I've had to get where I'll stream from TuneWiki, YouTube, whatever then it suddenly decides it wants to stop and refuses to do anything until I fully reset the phone via pulling the battery or using Quick Boot.  Short of making some Sprint operator cry to get my pound of flesh for this repeated issue, what else am I supposed to do?

its a known issue....much less common but still known.....i have had maybe 3 lockups now since official 2.1

only thing i would say is reflash stick with a stock rom till you see a difference....if it doesnt change then swap phones....if you dont want to keep swapping phones then get a different phone...not much else you CAN do

edit: i really think the thread title should be different....this isnt a streaming app problem, it is a radio lock up issue

The radio locking up is what's causing my streaming apps issues, along with texting, etc.  Your welcome to change the tittle though, or is it something I can do?

I don't see why this is such an issue that can't be remedied.  I've already replaced one phone with my 30 trial period, so at this point I'm stuck with this phone.  Sadly, I've put Quick Reboot onto my desktop because I've gotten to the point that it happens so much.

Even if the radio doesn't lock up, I notice I have this issue where while streaming, the music just stops.  The play icon is still there, but no sound what so ever.  If I hit stop and play again, sometimes it comes back on.  If not, I have to close the app, restart it and it'll play again.  Sometimes it'll play for 10 minutes without issue, sometimes it'll go as long as 3-4hrs.  I really wish this, which I consider the radio to be a major issue, could be fixed.  Treo's got slammed for their constant resetting, and it got fixed.  Having a phone that requires a manual reset just to use the darn thing sounds just as annoying in my book.

I've been getting a "Error playing stream" error lately when trying to play my favorite stations in TuneWiki. I don't know if this is an issue with Shoutcast or what. My YouTube works fine. I've also been able to get a couple other stations to play, but none of the ones I actually like. Some show as playing but there is no sound or anything (yes my media volume is turned up).

I used to use this all the time without any problems. Now I've been having a hell of a time trying to get anything I like to play.
