why are you even trying to overclock in the first place??

anyways previously all the overclocking apps have never actually overclocked anything....havent heard if that changed....one thing you can do is install JIT....search the forums or google, one warning though you will get reboots randomly because it is not stable

The overclock widget works great for me. i define my CPU procceses within 66000-800000 and it runs like a dream. when set all the way up i notice a performance diffrence and when set all the way down my phone becomes so slow i cant even use it (left it alone for a week like that with 5% battery and it stayed alive!)

JIT?

and the "overclock widget (needs root)" works awsome on my phone

and you cant get over 800 because the intercept has a 800mghz processer in it, so it cant go above that

That's why it's called overclocking...omfg

Anyways.  Download SetCPU.  ("paid" software) That will overclock it, you need the right deviceconfig though:

Have a setcpu.txt with the following custom frequencies:

66000,133000,266000,400000,800000,1066000

The phone can get a little warm at times but it wont harm your phone.
