My wife's Intercept updated yesterday morning. I think the biggest improvement is that it's plain "vanilla" Android. It looks like the update removed Samsung's crappy custom interface. The ONLY thing that my wife misses about the interface is the shortcuts to Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS and Vibrate that were accessible from the notifications menu, but putting the preinstalled "Power Control" widget on one of your home screens is an easy solution.
my only drawback is that live wallpaper options are still not available but other than that it is pretty sweet...
Live wallpapers are only available to Android devices who's processor could handle them properly. There are hacks out there for putting live wallpapers on some phones that don't officially support them. I put live wallpapers on my Samsung Moment and there are many times when I'm running something else and the processor can't handle the app and the wallpaper so it changes my wallpaper to the last image I used as a wallpaper. It basically does this every time I get SMS popup notification (using Handcent) or any other kind of popup window.
