For those having the radio error (I think that's everyone) I found a program that tries to reset all the core processes for Android and about 2/3 of the time, if my radio is hanging, it will successfully reset it and bring back functionality without a full reboot.

It's called Fast Reboot in the MP if anyone is interested.  Sometimes I still have to do a full reset, but far less often.

Radio meaning the internet connection?  I have this annoying rectum problem where I'll be strreaming music, then it suddenly stops and get stuck in either EV ^ or 1x and won't do anything on the internet until I reset the phone.  It really pisses me off and sends me back to using my Treo for internet, so thankfully I have a plan w/ two phones.

Hi:

Since the 2.1 official update, I tried Fast Reboot, turning Airplane mode off and on, waiting, turning wifi off and on but once I lose connectivity, the only way to get it back is to go through the longggg reboot process. If I hit a dead spot, then I'm offline until I reboot, one hundred percent of the time. Wish it wasn't so.

I wish it reset the radio ONLY.  Instead it does the radio, my live wallpapers, etc.  While not as bad as my first Intercept, I've still had it happen where suddenly it refuses to find a signal and reconnect so I can continue streaming.

i used this but it kills ALL processes basically.....so if you are running a task killing app it's gonna kill that along with any other app that is not necessary......I too wish it only reset the antenna.....

So after getting tired of either pulling the battery or holding the pwoer button to cycle the phone, I installed this app again.  I agree that it should only reset the radio itself since that's the issue that I keep running into.  Why Samsung/Spring doesn't fix this is beyond me, but I guess that's for another thread.  After searching the app store for this again, apparently the paid version will allow selectable options for resetting.  Has anyone paid for this app yet to see if resetting the radio portion only is an option?  There is another program called Quickboot that sounds like it does the same rebooting thing, and can even do it via timers...like everyday at 4am.  Is there really a benefit to rebooting the phone daily like this?  The only think I hate about constantly pulling the battery/cycling the power is that I have to go into Adavanced Task Killer Free and reclose apps that automatically open w/o me asking them too.
