I got the froyo update from VM, and everything seemed fine..

Only thing giving me problems is weatherbug. It forces shut down and will not work right. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and still same problems. Any one find a fix for this?

I think your best bet is reporting the bug to the app developers. Let them know what version of Android you have and what cell phone you use. It really helps the programmers if you give them a lot of details about the issues you are having so that they can fix it.  Wink

My WB stopped working after the update months ago also.  I read the reviews on the market and there already is a TON of people complaining about it not working for the Intercept, so it's on the developer now to start reading these reviews that people have been complaining about for months.

The one that comes with the 2.2.2 update is pretty nice. The widget isn't pretty but it's functional and keeps accurate temps. The prettier one can be found within the alarm clock (hella nice, too!). The weather info that comes from both is from The Weather Channel. You can get an upgraded version to the one that came with our phone hereSmile

I use that one as well, but just as the News and Weather app and no widget. (Just took a look at the widget and you're right, it's ugly!)  What I like about the WB is that it keeps the temp in the notifications area and it has radar.  I also find the UI a bit nicer than the official TWC app.

I also use Weather Widgets for the htc style clock and weather, but there's been too many times where the weather has been off for me to solely rely on that one.  Plus it has no radar.

Yes you read that right, I use 4 apps for my weather, lol

I use the weather and news widget already on the phone to save MBs.  I tried Weather Bug first and didn't like it then I used The Weather Channel for a long time but then I found out I could just use the widget and a save the mbs for something else. Why waste the memory when it gives you the same info?  And I like the format better.
