Too bad it doesn't have a physical keyboard... y'kno, for those emulated games, ssh-terminals, etc.

i WILL be buying this on launch!! unless something with a physical qwerty comes out with the rest of the same specs

and i sure hope this thing is rooted cause sense ui is crap.....no landscape even on the home screen, unless it has a keyboard?? who has a hero and does it landscape on the homescreen?

here is another video from slashgear HTC Evo 4G from Sprint hands on

that phone is pretty baller, but i'll be happy with my Intercept...  only things i wouldn't mind that can't be upgraded to would be the Snapdragon and the 1 Gig of onboard storage.  the rest doesn't really matter to me, plus that doesn't have a physical keyboard which is now a deal breaker for me.

Has HTC quit producing physical keyboard devices?  None of their new announcements seem to mention them.  I find this trend disturbing for us business users.

How hard would it be to use the Touch Pro 2 device and adapt android for it, I know XDA is attempting it themselves.

I still have not been able to get my Intercept but I am seriously leaning more towards the Evo now. Bigger screen, more storage, faster processor, faster network.... it just seems like the better deal if I'm going to have it under a 2-year contract it might as well be as fast as possible. Most phones slow down over time. So by year 1.75 it will still be faster than what I have now.... hell even after 5 years it'd probably still be faster than what I have.... haha.

It really just matters how much it's going to cost with a 2-year agreement.... but the past couple days I've been drifting away from the Intercept. Physical keyboard isn't that important to me. I'd most likely be using a virtual numeric keypad with T9 (like on the Hero) or Swype anyway.

I'm going to be getting that phone ASAP... lol. Probably keep my intercept for emulators and such, but have the EVO be my main phone...
