It's sad to see that there are still "new" devices being released with Android 1.5 when, off the top of my head, there have already been maybe four devices released with 2.0 and up.

Let's count.... There's the Droid, HTC Passion, Motorola Shloes, and the Nexus One that are already out with Android 2.x.... plus the HTC Evo that WILL be coming out soon....

Does Best Buy get shipments of brand new computers running Windows 98?
(slightly over-exaggerated but you get my point)

The way I figured it was that the PTT feature made it harder to wright the software. They probably started on it long before 2.1 My guess is that an update is already on the way but they want to goahead and get it out. I just took my Brute back under 30 days and went back to my old busted up I580 (the best modern IDEN phone) so that I can use the upgrade credits on the I1. My wife has a Intercept but Sprint coverage is hit and miss at my work. Nextel works everywere for me. I've been with verizon, Sprint T-mob and now back to Nextel in the past 2 months. I was doing backflips when I found out we can geT android. I dont browse the web much away from the house so as long as it has WIFI im good. Now I just hope that someone as smart as Joey and the others decide to play with it too!
