Is there a way to take the side button out of the ringer set up? Program, say, the the hang-up button the silence the ringer? I would really appreciate help. The bright side is that I use a fraction of my minutes... The side button is very sensitive, just moving the phone will silence the ringer. Mine doesn't do what you describe. I even found a volume lock app, but is was no help either. I don't think it is the phone at this point, I think it is the programming. Unfortunately I don't know a thing about programming the Android OS (it's Linux based if I remember correctly).
