Is there anyway short of turning the phone off or on silent, to stop the annoying sound the phone makes every time the signal comes and goes?: We live in a rural area and it goes constantly!

Count me as another user annoyed by this.  I can't believe there is no way to selectively silence this sound.   (Yes, I guess I can believe it.)

My bedroom, office and favorite bar are all on the edge of the VM signal.  This thing is driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance to anyone with a workable solution.  I can't have my phone on silent very often.

I agree... We're in a rural area too and our M910s are constantly sounding off.  As far as when we're sleeping, we use a free app called "Silent Sleep"; it allows you to set all notifications to vibrate or silent during a time frame you set up.

hi, i am new to this forum but i to was getting tired of the beeping noise when ever i lost the network. this is what i tried today and it seems to work pretty well. i went to android market and downloaded the the free version of AUDIOMANGER. YOU CAN THEN SET THE ALERTS VOLUME TO THE OFF POSITION AND SELECT VIBARATE ONLY, THEN  TURN UP THE RINGER VOLUME TO WHEREVER YOU WANT IT. this got rid of the notification beep. THE ONLY THING IS WHEN YOU GET A NOTIFACTION (TEXT ECT.) YOU HAVE TO RELY ON VIBARATER ONLY.
