I also posted this on Android Forums and SDX's Forum...

I'd love to help. A lot of people have helped me with my Intercept and now I would like to help every one else. I know there are tons of guides but when your first starting they can be confusing.... I'll help you from step one, to the last step... Doing it over the forum would be slow and add clutter so just add me on MSN for quick help... xxbbyxxgirlxx(at)live.com =)

*sorry to say this but xxbbyxxgirlxx no longer has a Intercept. I ran across her on the Modmymoto site. sorry for any inconvieniance*

Hi kids! lol I've been rooted for about 5 months, but have been slacking on updating the kernel. I'm still sitting on 11. Trying to update to 14.3, all is well, connected to Odin, selected one package and correct kernel (I think), and it starts to run then hangs at setup connection. This used to happen the first attempt and I could close Odin, pull battery and star again and it worked fine. Any ideas?

Personally, I'd ditch Odin and use the Sprint Update Utility.

root = super user, means you can now make system wide modifications to your phone, you can install apps that require root access to work, you can remove apps from your phone.

What do you mean exactly? Are you trying to remove apps? See below.
http://www.samsunginterceptforum.com/rooting/removing-apps-after-root-%28credit-to-cnstarz%29/

http://www.samsunginterceptforum.com/rooting/back-up-and-remove-apps-1-5-and-2-1/msg12927/#msg12927

Other "things" you can do also are listed below.

http://www.samsunginterceptforum.com/android-2-1/flashing-rooted-leaked-version-of-android-2-1-and-other-goodies/

By the way, I saw you posted the same question in another thread. I'm looking out for you here when I say "not a good idea". Primarily because it is rude to insert questions in multiple locations before people have a chance to assist you. Secondly, your question(s) you have posed can be readily answered by the Sticky posts at the top of each sub-section.

Again, not to be unfair or critical of you, it is important to search a round a bit and have some fun reading and learning before posting questions that have been answered multiple times. Cheers!

Can someone please help me root my phone? I can not seem to get proper documentation. If you can message me on here or point me to a website to help that would be great.
