Safe apps to remove while root

Great topic, after removing suggested apps my phone has grown a pair!!! Wanted to ask if possible remove default wallpapers (landscapes) saved in phone or possibly factory ringtones stored on phone.  Secondly, wanted a clear answer, can all .apk files be removed or just the ones suggested and confirmed in post???

My favorite was removing voicemail and setting up call forwarding via google voice, then having messages translated and sent to email via text...SERIOUSLY SWEET!
