I HAVE JUST RECIEVED OFFICAL WORD IN THE SPRINTS PLAYBOOK THAT THE ANDROID 2.1 SOFTWARE, WILL BE RELEASED MAY 10th!!!!! GET READY GUYS!!! i will upload the picture of the calender day so you can see, along with the front page of the playbook so you can see THIS IS DIRECT WORD FROM SPRINT!!!!
if this doesnt happen im going to be soooo pissed >:(

i'm so anxious to see how the release build is gonna be, but will all the rumors in the past i'm soo annoyed too! lol i hope it does come out monday i hate waiting ....

whoops, didnt realize it didnt put the pic in there...and im sorry i keep putting them here.
ISC is the portal to acess sprints networks. thats where we find all of the downloads and all how changes are made to your account. dont bother trying to hack it its confusing as hell and theres 2 sets of passwords and login ID's you need. 3 wrong tries your out for 3 days =(

It looks (to me) that the pic shows this Podcast on HTC Evo: with the topics of Android 2.1, HTC sense, widgets and live wallpaper for the EVO being discussed. Like I said this is how I read it. |

Hey everyone new here as far as posting but lurked for sometime... OP the image you have there is only showing that on May 10th there will be a podcast released for the EVO nothing noting that Droid 2.1 will be released. AS the Poster before me stated nothing relevant to Samsung Intercept or even the Hero for that matter.

the picture also says avalable in the ISC portal, so i will check tomorrow when i go into work if the intercept/hero update software PDF's have been updated themselves.

It seems pretty clear that everything following the colon are topics covered in the podcast as they relate to the HTC Evo and said podcast will be available tomorrow. I don't think anything more can reasonably be concluded from this..

whats going on fellow intercept owners but i dnt know if ne of u guys have been on sprint.com/downloads page today but when i click on da intercept icon n then click on more details it isnt doing nething im think that they might b updating it n da 2.1 update is close to being released. ive also clicked on the hero cuz my wife has 1 n da link opens up fine n the only update for da hero is is da new htc sync... so it has me wondering if da update will b released later today or sometime this week can some1 else please check da site so i kno it ist just me thanx

Sorry to ask a question that's probably already been answered a million times, but when we do the update
Is it just like installing another app where it just downloads and we run it, or
Do we basically have to backup the whole phone, format it and basically reinstall everything as if it was a brick.

Currently running Noobnl's Radioactive Eclair 1.5.5a w/ MeatKernal 1.1.0 - built in apps2sd and wifi tether is awesome! Too many apps to list...most recent fun ones being animated wallpaper and Swype :)
