I emailed sprint and asked if the hero and intercept were going to have Live wallpapers and they said "Thank you for contacting Sprint regarding android 2.1 for the intercept and
HTC Hero.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to commit that android 2.1 will
support live wallpaper."

um....maybe if you could post the entire relpy email from sprint, but either way that doesnt mean NO live wallpapers....sprint is going to stay tight lipped on updates as does every other major corporation

No comment doesn't mean no live wallpapers. The Droid wasn't supposed to but it has them but now it's going to. Have a feeling all 2.1 phones will get them.

um wow.....imho that email is poorly written on sprints behalf

i am still sticking with the fact that they meant "comment" rather than "commit" on speculation

all that's gonna do is waste battery life, now i don't have any issues with battery life, but pointlessly wasting it?  that just doesn't make sense...

I want live fishies too... but I don't think the battery would deminsh that bad.class looking forward to this too. I hope wevge it. And if not I'm pretty sure one of our brilliant hacksung guys will find a way:-)
