The official 2.1 update has been released today.

The update is not OTA its OTW (over the wire) which means u have to follow steps on the computer. Who ever is a twitter fan now we can try out new official twitter app. The HtC hero get the update next week

Ohh I'm not new to forum been on forum since intercept came out.just never post. And ohh u right it came the 30th right? No offense meant, but since you're not new here, you're probably aware that we've had these rumors about the 2.1 release for some time now.

Checked April 2nd @ 1:05 am Central Time:

Update Firmware:

Update Android:

Your system is currently up to date.

When 2.1 is actually released, I would expect a flood of posts about it's release, as well as rants about what wasn't fixed.

If by some miracle you do have it. upload the .tar that you used to mediafire or mega upload and post the link......until then we will believe you are just misinformed, or trying to create hysteria.

i bought my intercept today and the sprint employee told me there is a new update i need to download that just came out and i asked if it was 2.1 and she said yes...maybe she was misinformed.

That's what I've been trying to do but when I try to update anything I get error messages on all except for the Android update option. I called tech support today but they can't do anything until I can call them from a phone other than my Intercept which is the only phone I have. If I could at least get my Profile updated it just might help with some issues I've been having.

Super noob scince this is going to be an over the web update checking in update firmware and android will not do any good. You must check www.sprint.com/download to see if the update is available.
