Getting the ringtones YOU want

If youre on your computer and you want a song for a ringtone, or a particular part of a song, a good program to use is WavePad.  just edit the mp3 in that program(cut, crop, add fade in/out, normalize, equilizer)save it, and then load the new ringtone onto your sdcard.

If you are not really by your computer too much like me, a good program to use is Ringdroid.  But, what if you don't have the mp3?  I've found that you can find mp3s on google, and download them straight to your phone.  Theres been many times when I'm at work and had a really good idea for a ringtone, or even just wanted to hear a particular song, and was able to download it and listen.  You can type in "mp3 download (name/artist of song)" and a couple different searches will come back.  a pretty good website is beemp3.com.

Just an idea

I use Ringdroid by Ringdroid Team to snip the parts I like from the songs in my music library.  I keep it around 28-30 seconds.   If there is a song I don't have and I'm not at my computer, I use Music Search by Mobileworld.   It searches download sites for a song, and some sites take longer to downolad than others.

Another one to look into is Ringtones by Sharetones by DJ Nitrogen.  It searches your songs on your phone, then finds others who have already made ringtones for your songs and lets you save them if you want.  Some songs have no rintones, others may have 4 or 5 because different people liked different parts of a song.  It also has the Ringdroid editor built into it so you can also snip your own songs.
